Removing the cd-rom from a vortex III

The title is pretty self explanatory I guess :p. I'm not quite sure how to remove the cd-rom from my vortex III and was wondering if anyone knew how to do this? I've removed the one screw, but not sure how it's suppose to slide out.

It should slide out if you've taken the right screw out.
But your right not to force it too much.

just to check, that is the right screw I've taken out ?

EDIT: So when I ease it out, the drive needs to be in the open position (i.e. what it'd look like if you were about to put a disk on it)

I cant tell from the pic if it's the right screw or not,usually it's at the back centre of the drive,and yes open the drive first.
Not all laptops are the same though,it may be necessary to take off a small panel.
If no one replies for sure, best give tech support a call.

All sorted, lifted up a little panel and gave it a push :D

It wasn't the correct screw after all, I lift the panel next to it and removed it now. I got my self confused thinking there was a HDD there! Obviously I realised that was slightly illogical in terms on space and well like I said it's sorted.

Thanks for replying and trying to help anyway :). The user manual is ok, it shows where everything is. I think it was me just being a bit silly and missing the obvious hehe :p
