Red smudges on Vortex lll's screen.

^ the title, really. I'm not sure if it's always been there, or if I've only noticed it recently, but when my screen is black or dark etc. there are distinct red smudges on my laptop screen.

It doesn't bother me, but they appear (It might just be me, though) to be getting bigger, and I'm afraid that it's going to get worse, and I'm going to regret not getting the dead pixel guarantee because I can't afford a replacement screen...

Help?

Ordinary screen defects are covered under the 1 year standard warranty, the red smudges you describe don't sound like dead pixels.

I would get in touch with PCS support, explain the problem and see if you can arrange for an RMA while you're still under warranty.

Hi, I have recently had this exact same issue on my Vortex III LE, have you been able to find a solution to your issue? I've contacted PC Specialist over email, and they want me to send pictures, I can't get any pictures of this issue that show the smudges, the screen glows which stops my phone camera from picking anything up, and it has a glossy display which makes things even more complicated.

After these marks appeared they are extremely annoying, so any help will be appreciated, I know this is an old thread so if there aren't any replies I'll start a new one, thank you :)
