RECOIL IV - Tuning and benchmark recomendations

I received my recoil IV last week and I've had enough time to play around with it and I'm extremely impressed. This laptop preforms really well in games, especially when turbo mode is activated, with the 2070 super max p looking like its pulling more than 120 watts, like an Eluktroboost. In cinebench its averaging a score of 4000 with an undervolt of 80mV in Turbo mode with fan boost enabled.
While running a Aida64 CPU Stress test with the same settings I am getting these results

I am curious as to why I never reach the boost speed of 5.1ghz, if anyone has any suggestion on tweaks or more tuning I can do to make it run better I'd be grateful. Also if anyone would like me to run benchmarks if they are thinking of purchasing, I would be happy to.

The 5.1ghz boost, is single (or dual on i9's) core only, and then only for the TAU times (can't remember what the 10700 and 10875 limit that too, might be 56 sec) and even then only when within the TVB constraints..... So long story short, if your running anything multi threaded, then you won't easily see your 'cpu' hit 5.1ghz, however if you use hwmonitor or something you might see the two best performing cores hitting it, handing off to each other on and off so at least a couple cores are at 5.1ghz momentarily at times.

How intel 10th gen boosts work is a whole thread of its own, however just remember, just because intel advertise 5.1ghz,that does not mean 5.1ghz all core! The best you will ever see on multi core boost is 4.9ghz, and even then only on two cores at any one time (some bios 'hacks' override that, and boost all the cores to 4.9ghz, but then will hit TVB quicker obviously)

https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...0875h-processor-16m-cache-up-to-5-10-ghz.html for specs

Wonder if we could buy another base for the laptops, or 3d print one that would allow a water cooling block or two to press against the fin stack and heat pipes..... Hmm might look at that when mine arrives

Hey, nice scores you have there.

How have you done your undervolting?
What software do you use to test stability?
I would like to do it, but because I have never done it before I feel very insecure about it.

Kind regards,

8 cores at 4.3 and decent temps? The 8750H laptop I had throttled below 3.9 on all 6 cores and you could cook breakfast on it. That's an impressive leap in just a couple of years
