OCCT test CPU + Ram 30 mins, max temp of CPU 86C, 100% utilisation, and 99% power usage (Due to my power settings). Ram running at ~5,586MHz, no errors detected.

With regards to the videos shared, I tested the benchmark in shadow of the tomb raider (ultra settings) multiple times, no issues, but from those videos it seems apparent that the issue is more related to people that use dual displays than single, and as I cannot located the dump from that single game freeze I cannot try to determine if it was due to the RAM or GPU or just maybe an issue in the game itself.

Ran Cinebench 2024 results (was unable to run the GPU test for some reason)

Quite happy with that with no tuning done to the system. not experienced any issues today with the system (will keep monitoring it but possibly just windows being a pain in the arse with it's unnecessary background tasks).

Were those CPU benchmarks done with the CPU at 99%? Just they are a little behind some other benchmarks I've seen with the same processor in different laptops.

Below are scores for the AORUS Master 16 with a 5080 as an example.

Multi - 2038
Single - 135

I'm unsure if I've running it 100% properly, like without any other tasks taking up the CPU power, (closed steam and any browser etc but not sure how to isolate it further to get max results, apart from maybe try run it in safe mode).

Sorry, I meant did you have it running at cpu power max percentage 100% or 99% which you said you normally use. Just I think doing that turns off intel turbo boost meaning you leave a lot of potential performance on the table.

I had HWInfo running while I do the benchmark, these are the values returned which look reasonable (PL2 is 10W out from the max of 160W) and the clock speeds are not hitting the full 5.4GHz, still only getting a score of between 1816 - 1832.

[UPDATE] From further investigation I have concluded that there is power limits throttle happening in performance mode which is why I'm not getting as high a score as I maybe should, but I'm guessing these limits where put in place my either PCS or the manufacturer for a reason so I will not tinker for now.
