Re-routed to another courier

Hello there

I am expecting my PC to be delivered today (Order No 3887716) as it arrived at my local office (Gateshead) during the night.

However the latest tracking shows "re-routed to another courier" which I am a bit concerned about.

Does anybody have any experience of this? Does anybody know which couriers they use?

I rang customer support but they just said that it is with a Third Party courier.

I am a bit concerned because

a) I have had some very bad experiences with some of these "independent" couriers like the Home Delivery service who recently left some chocalates in the garden waste bin after not bothering to knock on the door!

b) I have no idea now when the delivery will be

Any advice appreciated

DHL occasionally use local/third party couriers to deliver some of their parcels, however this is not something which should worry you. I'm confident that the PC will be delivered successfully, without any hiccups and if the worst does happen, it's covered under insurance.

Re-routing to another delivery service should not cause any delays, I'd still expect to to arrive within the 24 - 48 hour period so in your case today/tomorrow. Keep you eye on updates on the DHL website and if you haven't received anything by mid afternoon, give your local DHL Office a call to see if they can provide an update.

To be honest even if it stayed with DHL, once it's out for delivery you cant tell when it's going to turn up anyways (apart the fact that you know you'll be in the middle of something when it does turn up )
