Hi guys, i am thinking of upgrading my RAM to maybe 2 x 16gb, would my current spec be capable of that? More and more viz work (Lumion, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, D5 etc) is making me think I should think about upgrading! Many thanks in advance.

You could just add another 2 x 8Gb to give 32Gb, no need to swap it all out, no benefit.

If you go to your main PCS account, you can order another 2 x 8Gb in the upgrades section

Ahh ok that would be easier I suppose. In terms of installing, is this something I can potentially do myself?

Fitting RAM is really easy. One tip, though, if you're doing it for the first time: lie the PC down flat so you're pushing the RAM down into the slot. It's not necessary but it is easier if you're not used to doing it and knowing how much force to use.
That's a really good point, would fully agree with this, can take a bit of force to get the clips to click into place.
