I've had my PC a week now, everything is running amazingly - however, the bios is reading my ram as 16GB at 1333mhz instead of the 1600mhz that's installed.
My motherboard's ram stats say 4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1600/1333 MHz, meaning the 1600mhz option isn't overclocking?
I know I can manually go in & just switch to 1600 frequency with 1 mouse click, is this what I should do?
I don't want to change anything around in the bios willy-nilly, but my ram isn't 1333mhz it's 1600, and the mobo says 1600 ram isn't overclocking, making me think it's a standard option which poses no risk?
Edit: I just checked in the dimm setting & it says 1333mhz ram running at 1333mhz, and if it's set to 1600 it says 1333mhz running at 1600mhz?
