RAM Overclock Questions

Hey, got my PC finally coming hopefully next week, just had a couple things to ask.

Do PC specialist clock the installed RAM to it's marketed MHz values themselves?

Does overclocking RAM/CPU/GPU void the warranty supplied with a build? (seeing as setting RAM to its proper MHz freq is technically an overclock.)

Thanks for any replies.

p.s. Day 30 (wd) pre-produciton, hyped and bored. 😬

Yes, the RAM should be clocked to what you ordered it as.

If you've order Ryzen, then for almost all uses it's actually better NOT to overclock as you'll reduce the turbo boost significantly so it will actually reduce single core boots.

You're allowed to overclock RAM and CPU definitely without affecting warranty, I'm not 100% sure on the GPU though, would need to double check that.
