Good evening guys. I want some opinions on this build that I did 1 month ago. Currently it's in pre-production (25 working days), i received an e-mail friday after i changed the GPU from 3080 to 6900xt that it will be in building tomorrow (18 January).
I have this monitor for now ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07T2Y5ZG7/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 ). I will upgrade to a better monitor in the future but for now i want to enjoy the whole 240hz experience. I'm gonna use it mostly for gaming, maybe streaming.

There have been some stability issues with 4 RAM sticks at 3600 MHz, which may have been fixed with latest BIOS. It might be worth changing to 2x16GB.

Saw those posts on the forum. I don't know what to do in this situation because i also saw some posts about the new ryzen cpu's running better with 4 sticks of ram. I just hope i will not have the same issue, maybe those ram sticks were faulty.

Where did you see that a BIOS update has fixed this issue???

@gxbb47, 4 RAM sticks at 3600MHz on an AMD 5xxxx CPU is causing many people all sorts of problems. Some find stability at 3200MHz, all find stability with just two sticks. See this thread https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/survey-for-amd-ryzen-users-with-four-ram-cards.77077/

I am sure that I read it on the PCS forum. There was some discussion about PCs being delivered with late 2020 versions of BIOS that did not appear to be showing the problem. This was definitely a MIGHT HAVE fixed the problem, hence the suggestion to go to 2x16GB.

Ah, there was a user who had no issues with a Nov 2020 BIOS date. Others with that same BIOS version are still reporting problems though.

It may be the AMD AGESA microcode that's, at fault - that's generally shipped with the BIOS.
