I'm not too bothered about the build speed or some of the other things, but I was just wondering how this would handle the majority of games, as well as how quiet- or how loud- at which it might be when running them.

Thanks in advance for any answers. :)

Change the case for the COOLERMASTER SILEO 500 QUIET MID TOWER CASE.

Also, what resolution are you planning on gaming at? The 768mb NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX460's performance starts to tail out at 1920 x 1020.

Finally, change warranty to silver. Worth it for the extra pounds.

As per Matt's advice - the best way to make this quieter would be with the Sileo 500 case. Otherwise a great spec for its intended use. :)

Thanks to both of you for replying so quickly. :)

I probably will not be gaming at anything above that, as I'm roughly going to be playing games on around 1440x900- which shouldn't be as demanding.

With regard to the case, the reason I chose the Dragon Slayer was because I'm limited in where I could put the computer, and this case fits in nicely. Plus I like the way it looks and it has three fans so that's a bonus. :)

As for the warranty, I had meant to click the Silver option as it certainly looks worth the extra £5.

Well the GTX460 is a fairly quiet graphics card and you do have the triple heatpipe cooler so the dragon slayer case would be a pretty good choice.

Thank you, I should be ordering my build this week. I'm looking forward to it; my current pc is like an upgraded dinosaur- not as bad as it could be, but still pretty old and useless. :D

"upgraded dinosaur" rofls. I guess you're gonna be driving it to extinction fairly soon then aye?

Alex, dont feel embaressed because I have a secret aswell lol.

My current desktops a dinosaur too Sleinous. A PB Intel Celeron 356 3.3 ghz with integrated graphics, hell yeah!

I did get it from that highstreet retailer, you know the one where you pay twice as much for something and still end up with a graphics card in the machine that can only manage to play pacman. I was so nieve back then, thankfully I found the right place here at PCS for the much needed upgrade. Im typing this on my newish laptop but I can see that being banished too in the next 48 hours! :D.

I'm sure the wait will be well worth it Alex.
