Quiet Gaming PC

Hey all, I am trying to spec up a PC which I want to handle any game maxxed out @ 1080p while still being quiet enough to use for music production. I don't know how loud the components I've chosen here are, so could someone offer some advice? I'm thinking realistically this PC isn't going to be silent, but I want to keep noise down as much as I can. I have gone with this specific motherboard as I need a spare PCI slot for my sound card. I have gone with the Caviar Green as I understand they are quieter than the Blacks?

Quiet and gaming don't really match. A quiet case will offer minimal decrease in noise when gaming by compromising with cooling.

Looks like a good build to me I have just placed an order very similar to yours for mainly music production your case selection should keep things quite while your producing and the caviar green shouldn't be an issue. Not too sure how noisy your graphics card will be but it shouldn't be an issue while you're producing as it won't be needed as much as it would be needed while gaming.
If i had to make a change to your spec it would be to upgrade the OS to to windows 7 pro 64bit if i'm not mistaken Windows 7 Home Premium can only handle 16gb of ram which would mean you couldn't make full use of your ram slots should you want to add more later.

I would go with a Caviar Black HDD if you're streaming samples or doing any heavy audio processing.
Apparently less prone to drop outs etc.
Considering a build very similar to yours,with the same Fractal Define R4 case.
Anyone out there with a high spec gaming rig with this case have any cooling/ventilation issues?
