Question about GPU

Hi,

Here are the specs for my video/photography pc. I just wondered would I see much difference if I stepped down to a 3070 for GPU effects in premier and after effects with 4k footage?

With your specific question, the difference between 3080 and 3070 for video editing is relatively small, compared to the cost difference.

But yes, do read the link @Martinr36 posted and let us know (a) budget, (b) purposes (anything other than video editing & photography?), (c) what monitor(s) you'll be using.

Please also post the link to the configurator so it's easy to modify.

I agree.the Puget benchmarking shows little difference between 3070 and 3080. Its GPU stress test benchmark shows about a 10% maximum difference, but this does not represent real world performance. I would go with a 3070 and save some money while getting the PC much faster.
