PWM on Gigabyte Mobo

Hello all,

I'm looking to quieten down my system and was looking at some PWM fans. Was wondering if my Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 motherboard can control the PWM fans via the systems headers. If so, would I get to that via system viewer, or some other way? If not, I presume the best way forward would be to get the Sentry 3 sold by PCS and use that instead?

It appears as though the 3off system fans on the motherboard are 4pin fans so should be PWM - you could always get the fans and plug them into the motherboard - if the mobo can't/wont operate the fans properly you can look at getting a fan controller after that?

That's exactly what I'll do. Hopefully that easytune software is something to do with it.
