Hi all, iv been looking around on amazon for Christmas ideas and started flicking through pc stuff as I saw one thing, then another, then another lol! you know how it is! My pc does not need upgrading at the mo but when I sli I will have to get a stronger psu. I have seen on amazon for instance.... Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU and that's for £68.98 then I see the likes of ACE 750W BR PSU with 12cm Red Fan and PFC - Black for £22.85.... wft?! I cant explain that price difference so can anyone else??! surely not just brand! Im still learning and catching up from 8 odd years ago when I moved to console!

Well that Ace 750W PSU from Amazon have most likely realistic output power of something along the lines of 600W ! Plus you never know when it will brake... and it will most likely ruin your mobo, GFX or CPU along with itself. On top of that you may get instability when it actually works and the problems will go on, and on, and on..
Not that I have anything against ACE. But if it sound too good to be true... well it probably is. PSU is something you definitely do not want to skimp on. Better buy lower power PSU but trusted brand.

I've had enough with cheap PSU's for life... in the end had to spend double the money of some proper PSU... grrr leason learnt for life. Avoid at all cost - unless combined value of your PC is no greater than of that PSU :)
