PS3 gamepad on 64 bit

If I plug the ps3 gamepad into my pc it loads fine but I cant get the ps3 button to say 1 player

Any Ideas???

Have you installed all the drivers for it? (MotionJoy etc)]

You can't use a PS3 controller just by plugging it in fresh.

tried the motionjoy route but it keeps saying waiting for device to be installed

Can't help you im afraid, I did mine via bluetooth, that, and I haven't used it in months.
