Prototype 2

Just wondering if anyone owned prototype 2 on PC and would say if it's worth it or not? Seen mixed reviews really and got 76 on metacritic. Loved the first one and it's on sale on steam for the day! Do you guys think it's worth the £5 sale price? Just don't want to buy it and never play it like I do with most steam games on sale.

I got it and played the first few levels. Not really my cup of tea, bit simplistic, but I didn't play the first one.

Yeah, I'd liked the first one just to burn time, not as a serious game or anything. Think I might get it, for £5 I can't really go too wrong considering I played the first one.

Thanks for the heads up, I just purchased this myself. Loved the first prototype, was just an enjoyable sandbox environment in which to show off your ability to kill everything that moved. And do the occasional mission from reviews I gather that this is more of the same with much improved graphics, can't argue for a fiver! I also picked up the star wars bundle, some good classics in there!

I'd say if you're not sure just get a demo and if you like it support the makers by purchasing a genuine copy. I've enjoyed mine just for time killing - smashing and slashing through enemies, leaving them in pieces was quite fun for a while. But I never bothered unlocking All of the perks and collectibles. Fun game to spend one week on.
