Prince of Persia 4 won't load

Okay so here's my problem, I just bought prince of persia 4 off of steam (being only £2.50) because I played the game on ps3 and loved it, only problem is, as soon as I click new game, the game goes to a loading screen which will just freeze and refuse too load, it looks like this:

You could try "verify integrity of game cache"right click on the game in your games list,
select properties/local files/verify integrity of game cache.

First thing I try never ever ever ever worked for me haha :L

Wow, all I had to do was enable vsync.... wow
