Price drop day after purchase

Sorry in advance if this isn't the right place to post about this, I wasn't too sure where to post. Yesterday I bought a pc, looked this morning and saw it had dropped in price by £85 (which I wouldn't mind having), sounds dumb but should I cancel the order and re buy? Or does this cause some kind of issue/inconvenience for PC Specialist?

Are you sure that it is exactly the same components in the order? If you have a link saved, I have noticed that sometimes if a component goes out of stock, it replaces it in the configurator with something else.

I believe so, I did a side by side comparison and it looked the exact same. I'll attach the screenshots if you want to have a look too.

Its just the luck of the draw, and goes to show just how volatile the market is at the moment, if it had gone up £85 meaning that the price of the parts to PCS had increased, would you be offering to pay the extra £85.............. ;)

I can't spot any differences there. Prices do fluctuate, if you want to take advantage of the new price you'll need to cancel and reorder (so not yet have reached the 'building' stage. Unrelated, can I ask about the storage - you've gone for a fairly small, slow M.2 drive, what other storage are you planning to put in?

Wow that’s unfortunate, sadly it’s the way things are these days, I can’t wait for some sort of normality.

I can’t also help but notice, that this build is quite unbalanced and we could definitely give it a few tweaks to improve it. If you’d like us to help we’ll need your budget, monitor info (make and model or resolution and refresh rate) and what you’ll be using the PC for

I have a 1TB hard drive and a 250gig ssd to put in alongside it, it just required me to put a storage drive in there so I chose that.

If it is just a placeholder so they can test the system, there are cheaper ones from the other (none m.2) drive menu. I only ask because with that CPU you have access to some superfast drives!

The board is unnecessary, you’d be better off with a B550 TUF and a better psu. Also, i wouldn’t even bother with that m.2, 250gb is the absolute minimum i’d go and you can probably get one cheaper.

3070 prices are volatile for some reason, they can literally change by £150 in a few hours, it’s wild.
