Just wondering what does pre-sold mean as my cooler master 310 case is apparently pre-sold. Can anyone from PCS also tell me when this case will be back in stock? If pre-sold means it isn't available for my order.
I am not. I had placed my order and was told I would be able to check if my item is in stock by putting the order to fast track and it told me my case was pre sold.
TO be honest I woudlnt like to say as would only be a guess. Im not completely sure how the stock systems works, just know from when I was checking to fast track before i ordered a few parts were pre sold, so at the time PCS wouldnt be able to guarantee they get more parts in intime for a fast track.
Best bet is to call them monday morning and ask the question. In the 3 days before my order 4 different parts were pre sold, so they get regular stock in, nothing to worry about as you are still only on your 5th working day of pre production
To be honest you're on your 5th day or pre-prod, and it doesn't actually matter what they have in stock now, what matters is what they have in stock when its your turn for your machine to be built, so there's not much point worrying about it, and as has been stated before the more people there are ringing up saying 'how long will my order be' and 'is this in stock' means less time for building pc's
There will always be gaps between stuff running out and getting new stock in, we always try and keep the gap minimal if any gap at all, this only tends to happen when an item is hard to get hold of or a supplier delays their shipment, usually the gap is only a few days at most, if it is any longer we will usually send out a mass email to people awaiting the item, either recommending a change of component or letting them know the ETA of the items ocming in so they can decide what to do.
The Elite 310's are currently due in next week between Tuesday and Thursday I believe. All orders awaiting for them will be started, please be aware, if we have been waiting for a few days a small backlog will occur and itm ay take 1-2 days to get through them, so if we get them in on Thursday, and your order hasn't been built by Friday, please hang on, we will be getting to you on a first come first serve basis!
Remember that PCS will not have lots of spare stuff lying around so things will go in and out of stock frequently, ie. it might go out of stock on a monday evening but more is expected the next morning, I suspect its worked out so that this does happen exactly so there will not be excess stuff lying around.
So checking what is and not in stock at any particular point is not really going to help your state of mind whilst you're waiting and is probably a pointless exercise given your PC isn't next in line to be built yet
