having decided i wanted to buy a new gaming PC i came here, and then after a few days mulling it over ive come up with this spec. the pc is gonna be mainly for MMO's, my current one being SWTOR. is there anything on here i should probably change? anything i would be better off with or dont need? any opinions are appreciated. cheers.

What is your budget and what do you need included in the spec (monitor, operating system, keyboard, etc.)?

just the stack. peripherals ill be sourcing seperately. the OS ill be using will be windows 7 home edition. this lot came in at £1400, i can probably stretch another £100 or so if need be, but id prefer not to.

Did you consider a 7950 over the GTX 580? The 7950 is a good bit less than the 3GB 580, and will perform slightly better.

so the radeon 7950 is cheaper but has slightly higher performance? sounds good to me. but whats the catch here? just a brand issue? isnt amd usually considered lower quality?

Not necessarily lower quality, but just a little more bang for your buck so to speak

The 7950 is a newer generation card, AMD have come out and undercut Nvidia to steal market share i geuss.

No catch just better value as corfate says, it's worth it for sure.
