Pleasantly surprised with PC that just came through the door!

Finally got my PC delivered a few minutes ago, and the first thing I did was take the side panel off and discover that the GPU was not what I expected! I found that instead of what I thought the GPU would look like; the stock 780 ti reference, there was a palit 780 ti with 3 fans! Have a question tho if anyone would be kind enough to answer! The first being that I looked online at the palit 780 ti jetstream, which im assuming this is because it looks identical haha! And found that it was by default clocked higher than the reference! Can anyone confirm this or am i looking at a different version?

Seemingly the jetstream is the only palit 780Ti with 3 fans.

Well I have that top one in the picture and I checked the website to see it has these clocks: "Clock : 980MHz (Base) / 1046MHz (Boost)" Is this higher than the stock 780 ti does anyone know? Sorry for being a massive noob hahah!

This information is at the bottom of the page just incase anyone wants to check!

Edit: Ah i checked nvidias website and confirmed the default clocks are Clock : Base Clock (MHz) 875, boost clock 928.
So I think I was correct in saying that, thats really made my day haha! Now I wont even have to overclock!

Ahh okay sorry I thought you were just randomly posting other cards haha! Yeah I can tell im going to fall in love with this PC very quickly haha, especially it having 3 fans and being factory overclocked!! Girlfriend can go out the window! Please dont tell her I said that!

Yes Im very happy with it, sadlyI cant actually use it until Sunday due to a lack of any peripherals including a desk and monitor! But oh well Ive waited this long! Thanks to PCS again for a great deal! Will definitely come back in a few years for another purchase but next time ill get the fast track service!

Oh no that means the graphics card on my order may be Palit! I like the original card design. I am planning on getting white LED AF140 corsair fans throughout. The Palit card has a blue LED if I remember correctly ??

I think the Jetstream version might have a blue LED - the 'stock' 780ti doesn't though if I recall. That uses the vanilla NVidia cooler

I think that is a bit unfair... because its mainly luck i'd say. And the Stock GTX 780 ti vs this one with 3 Fans is SOOO much batter and there is such a huge cooling difference.

I disagree, it's not unfair, its just luck of the draw. If you want a specific card you can always get your own and install it yourself (as moosEH said in his post )

I know, but when i spend so much money online i think it would be a great thing to chose what i want. + I pay PCS instead of some random website that i order the GPU from.

No one has a choice of what card they get, remember that PCS as far as I know have the lowest prices for components, if you was to order yourself one online it would cost more, as you say it is just luck and what stock they have
