Phones, Hand size dilemma

I am thinking about getting a new phone next year (as my current one is just a bit naf) and I am unsure about what I should get. I am not a noob (making myself sound like one....) but I have relatively large hands and I want a decent screen. I currently have a 3.7" screen which i find too small but I like the iPhone - you see where I'm coming from? But I like the the Galaxy Note but I don't want to look like a spoon when calling somebody (5.3" screen) or the Galaxy Nexus.

Any suggestions.

P.S the iPhone has a wider screen than my phone.

how about the samsung galaxy s 2 (think thats what its called) MASSIVE lol

I might try the SGS2 but it isn't a lot bigger than my Droid 2 atm. If i try it in a shop and i do like it i will get that or the droid razr, or the Galaxy Nexus if it isn't big enough. (which is good cheese)

(I have large hands. Not fat, but long fingers.)

lol Indeed.

As an iPhone user I have to admit, the S2 is probably the best value smartphone on the market for what it does, right up there with the best. As long as you don't mind slightly lower build quality in comparison.

And that screen is absolutely gorgeous too.

The only phone with a better screen IMO is the HD superAMOLED. But its TOO BIG to not look stupid. As I said when I next go into town I will have a look at the phones and do some sjzing up. Btw if you think my spelling has become horrible I have went on my phone and I cba to spellcheck everything :D

lol if you think that's inaccurate try dictating to Siri.

Edit: thought I'd be saying give it a try, let's see how it does. - See, just doesn't understand the tense system at all!

Apple really need to rethink their phone priorities. I do really want to have an android phone as the os is superior but theupdates peeve me as a lot of manufacturers take so long to get anything done

Hmm in terms of app quality I think iOS wins, a regulated store outdoes an anything goes policy. Nothing against open source - love it, but it results in alot of junk apps if unchecked.

Android is deffo more techy if you like that on a phone. Personally I like phones to be as simple as possible, otherwise it's just another high maintenance device to manage. iOS is just about as simple as it gets. And they just have a way of making things fun, even still-average voice software, by adding plenty of easter eggs. It still doesn't sit right with me at the moment though, cause it goes against my bang for buck philosophy.

Basically phones are the most personal gadget out there though so make sure you get the one you want and don't be swayed by others. :D
