I was wondering if there was a shop that customers could visit to see some of the PC's that are set up as overclocked or otherwise to get an idea of speed and cooling before they purchased?

I live in Manchester and so a trip out to Holmfirth would be worth it to me if I could wander around a shop to touch and feel some of the cases, graphics cards, monitors and other computer products to get a feel for the quality and see for myself the great prices and also gauge the staff's customer service etc... maybe it would help sales and encourage add-on sales that have never been realised before?

There is nothing like speaking directly to an expert about a product to get you excited and increase your knowledge of that product to make a person spend their hard earned cash at PCS.

I work in a retail environment where experts are employed to give advice to customers and help them with their projects and it has a direct affect on sales and add-on sales.

If there is already a shop I would be interested in planning a visit for sure!

When I last visited (July last year I think) them there was no shop, and its not set up for customer visits at all.

In the FAQ on the main site it states

We are located in Brockholes, Holmfirth, which is near Huddersfield, Yorkshire. You are welcome to collect orders from our premises, but we do not encourage customer visits to our premises because they are not set up for this purpose.
