PCS laptops via other outlets

I've noticed that PCS also sell their laptops via other outlets.

I happened to noticed that some places have a Cosmos II Full HD 15.6" PCS laptop with an i3 and an 850m. I thought nothing of it until I read the specs and had it confirmed by the outlets that the 850m being shipped is a 2GB 850m GDDR5 version and not the lesser GDDR3 version.

Anybody have any idea as to why the GDDR5 version is available on PCS laptops via other sellers but not here and why it would be paired with an i3?

I did think it may be old stock but then they're not actually shipping them yet for another 3 weeks.

Very confusing.

the pairing of an i3 with an 850m isn't a terrible thing. The i3 wont bottleneck an 850m.

As far as why they are shipping the GDDR5 version for resellers, I have no idea. but if they are not shipping them on mass then it might be because they don't have them yet, and therefor wont be able to list them until they get stock (presumably)

Quite possibly. I had noticed the shipping date has been put back so you could very well be right on that come to think of it.
