PC Monitor question

In the NY, Im getting a PC (PC/S build) and will get a GTX 460 with it... My current monitor has a max resolution of 1280 x 1024 / 75.0 Hz, will this be OK? I appreciate its not the best but would it suffice, thoughts please.

Yes the GTX460 will be more than enough for that resolution.

Sorry I should of worded it slightly differently; will I need to upgrade my screen, as that graphics card will be too much for it??? Dont luagh but im not overally versed with it all!

No you won't need to upgrade the screen, it will be fine

You won't "need" to upgrade your screen, but 1280 x 1024 is a relatively low resolution, and in my opinion there's no point getting a high specification computer if your screen won't be able to display the content to it's full extent. I think you need to add a monitor to your Christmas list.

It's all down to personal preference really, though I tend to go for the biggest I can comfortably afford (and what I can fit on my desk).

For reference, my GTX460 happily copes with my new 1920x1080 screen and my old 1680x1050 screen at the same time, I like to have lots of screen space.
