Pc is dyinggggggg. D: Help me!

So after months of saving, My beasty computer arrives! :') and for the first couple of days I believed it was the best thing I'd ever bought...

A few days after my computer arrived I was playing on saints row 3 (gtx 580 btw) and it started to glitch up and freeze my computer... every three seconds there would be a glitch in the system and the computer was unusable.. so I'd have to restart it.. I hoped it was just a one time thing so i restarted and everything was fine.. then the next day.. again, gaming away and it starts to glitch again! (at this point i almost cried.) So, once more, I restarted.. same thing, again and again.. but the last one was about 10 minutes ago and i wasn't even gaming.. just watching a rubbish 360p youtube video!

Can anyone help me with what's wrong? I think it may be my gpu as when I'm gaming it hits about 85-90 degrees! :S and if it is my graphics card.. would pcspecialist send me a new one? :/ I paid a lot of money and it's a bit of a rip off if they've given me a faulty card! :/

Don't worry, PCS will sort it out for you! Give them a call tomorrow morning and they will try and get it sorted out for you. Worst case scenario is that they have to take it back to fix it, if they do this it is likely to take less than a week. Don't worry though, it will get sorted.

Well if they do decide its just the graphics card and you feel confident in installing a replacement yourself, they will happily just send you the replacement card and if you need a hand installing it they will happily walk you through how to over the phone.

As long as you have warranty theres nothing to worry about as PCS customer service is excellent.

I was gonna say that there is a bug in saints row 3, but clearly you get it elsewhere, i often get freezes in saints row, only the game though, not the whole thing, just need to close it for me

I used core temp last night and when i checked, all my cores were about 33 degrees.. and i use msi afterburner and right now it's saying my gpu is at 37 degrees but my fans are on 40%.. plus all my case fans are on full too :S i hve been trying to find a connection between each time it glitches up.. most of the time it's been when i'm gaming and when i was watching the youtube video my gpu was up at about 55 for some reason! :S

corfate: it doesn't shut itself down.. i had to manual restart because the mouse was next to un-usable :/ oh and one time when it glitched up, i wacked the gpu fans on full and when it got below 50 it stopped glitching!

also i couldn't call them up today as i got up for school and got home at 6:15 :/ (yes i'm young and noob-ish) and i'm confident with installing a gpu so that's fine :) i will 100% ring them tomorrow and grt back to you guys! :)

Hmm.. Does sound like a graphics card/possibly drivers issue. Give the ma ring tomorrow, or on saturday if you can't get home in time. I msure they'll get it sorted for you in no time :)

thank you very much! yeah i should be home in time tomorrow.. will let you guys know tomorrow! :D hope it's a simple graphcs card fault so i can change it! waited months for it to arrive and don't want to have to send it back! :/ but hey ho!
