PC for gaming/some casual streaming

Hi! Looking for some opinions on this selection please.

I currently have 2, 1080p 75hz 24" monitors and will be replacing one of them with the monitor in the spec below (1080p 165hz)

The most demanding game I will likely be playing is Total War: Warhammer III, hopefully on high settings if not max. I might live stream it occasion, but most of the streaming I do will be less demanding games.

Budget wise I think this is my limit (unless there is significant improvement for a very small amount).

Otherwise, is there anywhere that sounds like overkill for my usage where I could reduce the cost?

I'm not too bothered about aesthetics when it comes to the case, is there a cheaper option that is equally as good in terms of airflow/temps?

And finally is the H100x sufficient cooling for this setup?

Thanks for the response!

Yes space constraint is the reason for sticking to 24", and it will likely stay that way so I might be best to get a system that isn't overkill for 1080p?

With spending less overall I've changed to the H150i - not sure if it's needed but the quieter the better.

How does this sound?

Sorry I didn't reply..I get easily distracted by other things. I would stick with the current gen rather than going to a last gen DDR4 build.

I'd stick with the 7800x3D CPU as it's the best gaming CPU...gives you performance to spare if you want to go more in-depth than Warhammer or want to stream it etc.

I'm thinking something like this....not 100% sure on the GPU (could possibly go lower but the VRAM may come in handy if game demands change..plus the price difference is minimal); PSU is in there in case you might want to go to 1440p in future so could drop to 850w if you know you won't get a bigger screen. Monitor I left in but am sure there are better around, especially given the savings from your original build...Spyder knows monitors better than me or you could look through the monitor section of the forum:

I fully support this build but I'd increase the GPU to the 6800XT or even the 6900XT to see you through maxxing out the screen a bit longer. AMD have recently reduced prices on last gen so they're pretty good value.

It's overkill bit you could offload the stream entirely to the GPU and not suffer any gaming degredation.

NVidia GPUs at this level just don't cut it, they don't have enough VRAM to support modern titles, with 12Gb now being required on some games.

Total War games are heavily CPU bound but as you've got the budget, it would see you nicely

PCS don't supply 6900XT's at the current time (at least not in that configurator anyway)...I did consider the 6800XT but was weighing the extra cost (just shy of £250) vs potential use.....I think a lot depends on whether the OP is likely to go more heavy than Warhammer in terms of graphics (so maybe a shift towards AAA titles)
6700XT even at release couldn't max out 1080p 144Hz, so I think it's a little shy if factoring in streaming on top.

Thank you both for the responses, much appreciated.

The original budget is fine, I went backwards with the budget with the 2nd spec that I posted due to CountingDown suggesting that my original spec was close to being a "beast of a 1440p144Hz system", and I would assume I can spend a bit less to have a beast of a 1080p 144hz system.

If it's worth spending that much for the 1080p system no problem, but I would happily save some £ on this purchase and save the extra budget for somewhere down the line when I have the physical space for a larger monitor to move on to 1440p and beyond (at that point the PC we are discussing now would get passed on to my wife, so it wouldn't be going to waste).

For reference the second spec I posted was £1,523.00 inc. VAT, but if the spec that CountingDown posted (with a 6950XT instead of 6700XT) is the lowest you would recommend for my situation that'll do for me.

Thanks again!
