PC Build for gaming+streaming under £1000?

Hello,

I have a Nvidia 3070TI but i would like to build a beast gaming pc for under a £1000 that i can later on upgrade to make it better. I also have a nvidia m4000 so i could maybe add that into the build if it helps. The sole purpose for the pc will be for gaming+streaming and maybe daily use.

If it works out cheaper i dont mind building the PC myself and i can watch videos to help me.

Edit: I also dont need a keyboard and mouse or monitor as i have those and i play on controller. I also use GoXLR so maybe would soundcard play affect in this?

Do you know where you want to start? Any specs you have in mind or even a case you like?

For the soundcard would it be worth getting the Asus Strix DLX 7.1 PCIe sound card? Also, would you recommend a third storage drive? I normally have i drive which is strictly C drive and nothing else. Another drive for the programs and the third drive is for the games that is downloaded.

Also this motherboard will allow to to use my Quadroo M4000 on top of the 3070TI correct?

I dont really need a fancy case or anything but just want something that will be smooth. Also want the pc to have a good airflow with fans so it doesnt overheat n stuff.

The on-board sound will be fantastic. No need to add additional cards.

Any of the 7200RPM offerings would be my choice, if opting for conventional, or the Samsung Evo if looking at SSDs. You could actually add your own M2 drive, as there are spare slots, if you wanted to just do it yourself.

The 570 does support multiple GPUs so it would certainly plug in. I've never had experience with gaming on one GPU and streaming on another though so I have no idea how this would be configured. Typically the Nvidia GPUs have fairly good encoding capability with the build in Nvenc. That's all I've ever used and not had a problem.

Everything is entirely up to yourself. I would weigh up all the options carefully.

We cannot help with self builds or with illegitimate copies of Windows unfortunately. Either route would not be supported on the forum.

Obviously it isn't an exact science but it highlights the high price of electronics nowadays and PCS's ability to buy at lower prices. Sure you could maybe shop around and get the system for a bit lower but then you have the annoyance of building it, testing it etc.

This is probably the bit to remember...

You will be able to dig and find all th ebits and save a maybe 100/200 depending on total cost, but then its the time to build it, any parts that arent working cant just be immediately swapped over during testing, or if you damage a part during assembly you dont need to buy another one. The quality of the build itself (and you still get the spare parts in the welcome pack) and then the support afterwards. Theres no warranty or RMA option (manufacturer warranty only, so you have to find the faults and return parrts etc) and theres no custoemr support (or indeed forum support...which is kinda an unofficial but still very handy support network).... so really.... is it actually cheaper? I certainly wouldnt say it was better value.

And be very careful about your source for windows... Pirate copies are spotted more easily, and thats if you even get an actual copy of windows not just some scam seller. The more advanced windows get, the less time the fake keys/licences last.

That doesnt mean i'm saying you must buy from PCS, there are other services as well that will do custom builds, but you do need to consider what issues come with self builds and although it might save you a little bit, it has a lot more pitfalls.

You're not looking at like for like components, not a chance. I guarantee.

I don't believe that for a single second. The build I listed above is £1300.

I'm not going to argue though, it's turning into another pointless discussion for me to be a part of to be honest. I wish you the very best of luck with your build though and I hope it all works out perfectly for you

Id go through and check the entire build list and compare components to make sure they are the same models, and also check your delivery costs and add it all up again.
As also mentioned, youd then have to build it, theres no customer service, no warranty cover on the build, no RMA option and if you damage anything during the build, youd have to replace it.

On a £1300 build you -might- save £100 or so, its not going to be 30% cheap I know that much, and you lose a whole load of services that are then arguably far more valuable.

It is your choice, you dont have to use PCS but they -are- good value, ive shopped around myself, couple of other competitors who might save a few quid but dont then have that support service or added bonus of a forum like this.

Anyway, as the mods say, conversation isnt really going anywhere, and if its not a PCS system, forum rules are we arent allowed to help/advise so the threa will end up locked if thats where it ends up going, but it is your choice. Its your money afterall.
