I'm trying to flag this up everywhere I can at the moment because it just caught a family member out and I'm really angry about it. Not what you need when you're not working any more due to uni and finances at home are tight!
Warn less tech savvy family and friends because it's fairly a convincing scam as they go:

Needless to say I'm going to do my best to get our money back but from reading some of those comments it appears unlikely, but what can you even do though (without spending more money)?!
