What's the difference between the P8Z68-V and the P8Z68-V PRO?? is it worth the extra.. £25?? (i think..)

Would be great help if you knew! :) thanks.

Search through the forums, theres atleast 2 other threads one started by Wozza from the last 2 weeks that ask the identical question.

nothing, just a few extra features and overclocking power. its worth the spend :) you can see more details on it here.

I'm not sure about performance but the biggest difference I can see is that there are 2 extra PCI Slots on the Pro model

Ive read somewhere that the pro has abit of extra power for overclocking but i dont know how genuine that info is but it could be wrong. p8z68-v and p8z68-v pro.

as for for the slots, they both have the same number of equal slots which is 7.

Okay.. Well by the time i actually get a computer i'm guessing they both will have gone down in price.. So i should be able to get the pro version! Or maybe a better one that may come out... Who knowss? :) cheers guys.

i doubt a new z68 chipset board will be out soo soon as the z68 chipset boards are fresh latest, i think they will be releasing new motherboards for it at a later date as they are most likely working on new boards for the new amd cpu.

yes they are the 3rd gen, although probably wont be out until mar-apr next year, minimum

PCS may offer the gigabyte Z68 board, which has an SSD cache pre-installed onto the board and isnt much more expensive than the ASUS version
