Ordering tomorrow, help?

I have posted on here before but I am ordering a new computer tomorrow when we can get the new AMD CPU's I have been contemplating upgrading my 8 year old machine (from PC specialist) I have decided I want a RTX 3090 I believe in the interest of not having to wait I will be ordering the standard 3090 as the ROG Strix ones seem to be a longer wait. I will be pairing it with the AMD 5900X 12 core as I believe this is better for gaming and the primary use of the computer is gaming. I do stream a little bit (for friends) and do some editing of videos for a friend nothing to do with the streaming. I have around £4000 to spend but the budget isn't really a concer, happy to go over this no problem if there is something recommended that I can see a value to. I want the best computer I can buy, I have the money available now and have saved it up so I don't want to upgrade again soon. Suggestions of any build welcome even if it means changing something I have said so far, I wanted the cosmos case but its been removed so I am again open to suggestions?

You can get a monster of a system for that kind of money. I’d probably go for the 3080 as the net gains of the increased spend aren’t that much.

What monitor have you got or will that be an additional purchase?

I don't mind the extra spend, I am also impatient and believe stock of 3090 is easier to get and I have 2 omen x25 monitors at the moment, I don't think these need changing yet?

You’re gonna need a new monitor to harness the power of that card, I believe the X25s are 1080p 240Hz. I think even the 3070 might be a bit OTT for them.

I play warzone, apex legends, loads of sim type games, like civilisation. I play SIM racing games with a steering wheel (thinking of taking this up a level to VR) I stream Valorant and play CSGO. destiny and borderlands. I will be getting cyber punk and watchdogs, I play a lot probably 8 hours + a day and so I will play a large variety

also, I read that the 3090 needs a bigger power supply as they short it out.

Yeah I will put the 1200w in not a problem I built it up myself and it was pretty much identical to your build except I had a different motherboard and power supply. thanks for all your help.

If you've got the budget, the 5950X is supposed to be the all out winner for gaming performance.

If you do decide on that CPU, then I'd up the motherboard to the Hero

With regards to monitor, this was just posted today on Hardware Unboxed who do really thorough panel reviews:

that monitor looks amazing to be fair. I will look into that this week for sure. I can buy the 5950x no problem, from what I read it didn't have that much difference so I opted for the 5900x instead

Yeah, it's not a great deal more, and IMHO it's not worth it but if you're looking for all out performance, it's the one to go for, but I definitely think the 5900x is better value.
