Not exactly sure what you're looking for in terms of suggestions.

If you want to lower the costs then you can pretty much downgrade everything cuz it's all overkill as you mentioned. You will simply not see a difference when gaming on a single 2D screen with SLI GTX 690s compared to a single one.

If you want to increase the costs then you can go for 32GB RAM just to make sure it's a bit more overkill, get W7 Ultimate even if you don't need it and get 3x 27" 3D screens.

Its the best advice definitely want surround set-up (coming from the person without a surround setup :sweatdrop.

Get rid of the velociraptor an caviar green and get a 2 TB black.
You also don't need 2 690 s one will do fine.

Thanks for the advice, I am not trolling I will post my receipt here tonight, I will be using 3 24" monitors for sim racing/livestreaming and general 3 screen gaming, I will change the HDD's to a 2TB Black.

Not sure if those monitor's are 3d ready but I would get 3d ones if you can.

They aren't 3D but I will upgrade to 3D very soon.
