I'm going for the 1GB version of the GTX460 as it gives slightly better FPS at higher resolutions, which should be ample for the monitor I'm going to pair with the system.

Just a quick question, if I want to upgrade the ram in the future, will I need to buy another 2 x 2GB sticks as the motherboard doesn't support Tri channel?

Yes 2x2gb will give you the best boost in performance, 3x2gb wouldnt fit anyway as there'll only be 2 RAM slots free

Finally ordered the above earlier this afternoon but have gone with the new HD 6850 instead with it being cheaper, newer and at the same level performance wise as the GTX460 which makes a nice AMD setup on a budget.

The waiting is going to be hard now!
