Ordered No O/S. Add key or re-install

Hello. I ordered a 17.3 Valeon with no O/S as have my own. Is it best to just add the key to the version PCS install for testing or do a fresh install once the computer arrives? Thanks

You’d need to clean install your own copy.

You let windows update install all the drivers it can, and then any that need manually installing you get from www.clevo.com.tw, not from your PCS downloads as they’ll be out of date.

No, let Windows Update install all the drivers it can. Only download those that Windows Update doesn't install (which is none on most systems).

You let windows update install all the drivers it can, and then any that need manually installing you get from www.clevo.com.tw, not from your PCS downloads as they’ll be out of date.

I believe its a Tongfang chassis and not Clevo so I could look there for drivers. It only appeared on the site last week so I had hoped they would be quite recent on the PCS downloads area.
I'll let windows find as many drivers as it can and then see whats missing if any.

In that case, again, let windows update install all drivers it can then manually install any remaining ones from your PCS account as TongFang don’t have a public repository.

They should do, I know they have been with the control center so I would imagine it will be for the other drivers also.
