I chose the phenom x4 955 because this was my max budget and I thought the intel processors would be way too expensive for me. Also really wanted the 902 case. I noticed alot of people mentioning the sandy bridge processors and thought it would cost too much.

Then I checked the build price with a i5 2400. Was only £20 more than the 955. After that I checked the benchmarks expecting similar results between these two processors. How wrong I was, it blows the 955 out of the water. I was going to overclock the 955 to 3.5ghz.

What do you guys recommend I do? Cancel the order and start again?

This is a gaming computer btw.

Your original build will still be good for gaming, my Phenom II X4 965 is fine in Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising, Napoleon: Total War and Fallout: New Vegas but it is true that the Sandy Bridge CPU's are better.

Ok then. How do I cancel? Can I do it online or do I have to call them?

Edit:

I clicked "cancel an order" Then it says show or amend order. Amending the order only brings up the option to change different components?

You should be able to cancel completely near where the amend option is. Im sure its do-able online anyways.
