Hi, originally, I was going to purchase a Laptop, but then changed my mind as I could get a much better spec cheaper.
Also, I was worried about the heat issues with an i9 9900K in a laptop.

This will be for gaming, retro games, video capture/editing, photoshop, virtual machines, etc.
Will post extra info once the PC has been delivered. 😀

The 1st M.2 - is for the OS
The 2nd M.2 will be for Steam and other stuff (editing, VM's possibly)
4TB drive is for storage. (a little nervous due to it being a Seagate drive, might get an external drive to sync and backup)

I will order a WQHD 2K curved 27" MSI monitor towards the end of the week to compliment this build.

What's the exact model out of interest?

Also.. £2000-£2500 PC... in a £60 case... Are we sure we're happy with this? :)

Why the sound card?

In general the spec looks pretty solid and, if you are happy spending the cash on the hardware and are sure you will get benefit from it e.g. for video editing, then it seems quite balanced.

The monitor I will order is an MSI Optix MAG271CQR 27" 2K 144HZ F/SYNC

Not too bothered by the case, didn't want anything too big or flashy, the misses wouldn't be happy while she's watching Eastenders lol.

I ordered a sound card because I own a pair of high-end headphones, and listen to a lot of high-resolution music.

Update regarding the PC, I ordered Sunday night and has now been dispatched, and will arrive tomorrow. yay!

Hi, the total cost of the PC was - £2,353.00 inc vat.

Quick update, loving the new PC, would definitely recommend PC Specialist!

To be honest, I'm getting a few tiny problems and will post in a different category, but overall, the PC is everything I expected.

Do post up about any issues. Make sure these can be resolved as ofc you'll want to be 100% happy with the PC!

Good to see a photo showing how the inside is presented - how the cables are tidied etc :)
