Optimus XI Touchpad Driver

I recieved my Optimus XI today. The laptop seems good, but the main thing that I'm having difficulty configuring is the touchpad.

It appears to be using the default Windows driver, with nothing for Synaptics or anything similar. I've checked the Drivers and Utilities disc, but can't see anything related to the touchpad. I believe the laptop chassis is a Clevo NH55DDW, which I checked on the Clevo website, yet there wasn't a touchpad driver in the list.

The features I want are as follows:

1. Press left and right click at the same time for middle click

2. Single finger scrolling at the side of the touchpad

3. When you make a small movement on the touchpad it seems to move the mouse pointer too far; when you stop moving your finger it keeps on moving for a fraction of a second longer. It makes it hard to precisely select things, like text. I disabled mouse acceleration (Enhance pointer precision) but it made no difference to this issue. Maybe its a hardware problem/characteristic, but I hope it can be improved with a better touchpad driver.

Thanks in advance for any help regarding this.

Is there a Synaptics tab under control panel>Mouse?
Is there a Touchpad entry under settings>Devices>

There is no Synaptics tab under Control Panel>Mouse. The 4 tabs are 'Buttons', 'Pointers', 'Pointer Options' and 'Hardware'. Under Hardware and in Device Manager it only lists 'HID-compliant mouse' and 'PS/2 Compatible Mouse'.

In Settings>Devices there is a Touchpad entry. It does allow me to configure the standard Windows touchpad settings like multi-finger gestures, however there's no option for side scrolling, or 2 button middle click.
