Optimus VII 15.6" Sound Problem

Hi,

I've been getting some random sound problems lately.

Basically when I'm listening to my music or watching video, no matter if it's YouTube or just Local video files, there will be a random sudden and VERY brief distortion in the sound. The length of this distortion is less than a second. When it happens it seems that my laptop screen freezes for the same amount of time. I have had Task Manager opened all the time and when it finally happens, I don't see any CPU spikes in the graphs, not even in each logical cores.

It feels like a very brief lag spike and it has happened to me at least 5 times in the past 2-3 days.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
