Optimus V 15.6Turbo-boost during gaming???

Hello there im thinking of buying an optimus V 15.6 for gaming use. I wanted to know if the turbo boost of the cpu works during gaming . i m planning of getting the i7 4700MQ 2.4 .

That's a well thought out question there ;-)

What do you think? I am sure you can work out the answer. Just in case you can't, I have a Optimus V 17.3 with the same cpu in, and of course, under load, i.e. playing an intensive game, the clock speed of the cpu increases to its maximum, 3.4. You can set it to run at maximum speed yourself in the power options of windows if you want to all the time.
