Optimus V 13.3" - Is it easy to upgrade soundcard to SoundBlaster Cinema?

Hi All,

I have an Optimus V 13.3" laptop with with the standard 2 channel sound card factory installed. I notice on PC Specialist website that I can upgrade to a SoundBlaster Cinema card (for a fee). If I were to purchase this upgrade, would it be easy to install this card myself? Or does the laptop have to be returned to PC Specialist for them to perform the upgrade?

Any advice would be great.

P.S. Absolutely loving my Optimus V... Best Windows laptop I've purchased to date

The Sound card options for the optimus 13.3" are both external.
If you haven't already and feel your laptop is lacking sound quality you can download and install the Soundblaster Cinema drivers from the download tab when logged into your account on the PCS website. This improves the speaker quality greatly imo
