Optimus IV built in webcam stopped working.

Hey everyone, so I've had my optimus IV 17.3" laptop for a while now and its been working great. However, I tried to use Skype the other day and an error message came up telling me it could not find my webcam. I have used Skype with the webcam before so I know its not to do with Skype. I looked in hardware and it is not listed anywhere and I have also tried to install the driver for it again but it says 'no device found'. I can't understand where it could have gone, and any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou in advance.

try squeezing the bezel where the camera is, happened on an acer i had, obviously dont squeeze it hard enough to crack the camera lense, just enough to maybe re-engae the wire on the back.

Try hitting FN+F10 on your keyboard to enable the webcam,it could be different keys depending on the laptop.
