Hi Guys, hope this is in the correct section, apologies if it is not.
I have a Optimus II laptop and upgraded to windows 10. If I follow the upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10 everything works correct, however if I install a clean install of windows 10 (so no windows 7 exists) I cant get the laptop to switch graphics. It is picking up and identifying both graphic cards (intel and NVidia) but will only run the NVidia card. I have downloaded all the drivers on the website, got the camera, card reader etc to work but still having an issue with the graphics.
Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?
Thank
Chris

I have tried that but still didn't work, the only work around was installing windows 7 then follow the upgrade path to windows 10, but there is still a problem. When I start up the laptop it is running on the integrated graphics, when I load a game it starts running on the NVidia card, when I shut the game down it continues to run on the NVidia card until I restart the laptop. I have tried the drivers on the 'download' in 'my account' on the pc specialist site but it makes no difference.

You need the latest hotkey version direct from www.clevo.com.tw, the one you're using is out of date.

Thanks for the link, however I downloaded the updated driver for my model W150HRM which took it from 3.3029 to 3.3044 but it still does seem not work. but I might be wrong as I observed this last night:
When the laptop is running on integrated graphics, I have the green light (top left of keyboard) telling me the intel graphics are on. NVidia GPU monitor is grey and says nothing is running.
When I open an application (Game) I get an orange light telling me the NVidia card is running. NVidia GPU monitor is coloured and tells me what is running on it.
When I exit the application I get an orange light telling me the NVidia card is running. NVidia GPU monitor is grey and says nothing is running
So I am getting conflicting messages from 2 parts of my laptop so I don't know which is correct. It all worked correct before the upgrade but is only doing this after the upgrade.

You should prepare for the fact that Win10 is not supported by this laptop. The hotkey software has also only been developed for Windows 7 on this laptop it seems, and it's very old (2011). Even when you do a google search for Windows 8 for this model, you see people experiencing issues. You might want to contact PCS to get help with this.

I know one certain NVIDIA Optimus laptop vendors has enabled possibility to completely disable the onboard intel gpu in BIOS, so it will always use the NVIDIA GPU. You could check your BIOS for that option.
