Opinions on gaming build

I am upgrading from my laptop (Lenovo Y580) and have decided to finally build my own!
I'd like some advice on a build, I'm looking to spend £1000-£1200 and would like to be able to play the latest releases (Fallout 4, Witcher 3, GTA V in 1080p).

You could upgrade processor/graphics card for better performance - wouldn't recommend GTX 980 as it's bad value for money. an i7 probably wouldn't help you much either for gaming only - it would for video editing, recording and streaming though if you wanted to ever get into that. If you're a heavy multi tasker then go for 16GB RAM. If you wanted to SLI 970s in the future then go for an 850W power supply. Hard drives are upgradeable/downgradeable (avoid V300 series though). You could also add any of the extras like fans, thermal paste and cooling.
