which option in the usb thunderbolt options gives you the most usb ports? as i use a lot of wirless options so need to maximise this option ?

Well there is the standard amount for every PC - that is the default option (the exact amount with depend on which motherboard you have chosen) in that dropdown, each of the other 3 options that you can select in the dropdown will add a 2 port PCI card so they will be extra USB ports over the standard amount your motherboard has, which option you pick will depend on which 2 extra USB ports you want.

Personally when I wanted more USB slots, I just bought an external USB hub.

budget maxed but ave a 4k 60hz lg screen 43 inches and a AOC 32" curved 1440p screen and hope to add one more some time depending on use but games is primary role

Do note that PC's cannot ever be actually futureproofed
Which the machine can last a long time, in 5-10 years its tech will definitely be old, outdated, slow and struggling dependent on what the requirements for things at the time are

yup I have built enough systems over the last 30 yrs but I am wearing out now so the longer it lasts the better,,, if I am still playing 1st person shooters at 70 i will be well happy to build a new system lmao ps it might work if they provide zimmer frames in future games?
