So I quite often seem to be inflicted with mouth ulcers, I know burning your mouth, cutting your gums or the walls of your mouth in any way, whether accidentally biting while eating or any other means there may be can and most likely will cause such - but I quite often find myself getting them even when I haven't done anything myself to cause it.
I'm also no stranger to having multiple ulcers form around the same time and to put it plainly, it is simply not convenient nor is it pleasant.
Now, I've heard and also read that feeling run down or being stressed often can cause these infernal sores to appear, which is very relevant to me as I have a million and one things that stress me out all the time, I'm a bad stress head and almost everything will induce its merciless ways upon me - but it was brought to my attention that in some cases, frequent development of ulcers in the mouth can point to other, underlying issues.
So realistically I should go and see if there is anything more to me getting them quite often and actually should have gone long before today, but I just can't seem to bring myself to make an appointment, I hate going to see the doctor in General, for any reason, whether it be for a routine checkup, update of records, or the annoying blood tests. But in this particular case I find myself not wanting to know if there is something more sinister possibly behind them! Because as Stated above I am a major ball of stress and could do without any additions to the list of things that get me stressed.
So I was wondering, does anyone else suffer from frequent ulcers, do you have any preventions or possible solutions to stop them forming or even ways to speed up healing? Sure, I could use bonjela, but at this point it doesn't seem to have any effect on them for me if any at all, as I suspect they make it much less in terms of strength now as opposed to when it had first been released. I know keeping your mouth as clean as possible is also helpful, with use of mouthwash usually, it doesn't always help as well as you may like it too, especially if a particular ulcer is a larger one, which can take a considerably long time to heal and often leave a scar in your mouth, regardless of whether you rinse out your mouth with the wash regularly throughout each day.
