Oculus Rift S on Defiance 7

So bought a great laptop, Defiance 7, 2080 Super, i7, 32gb Ram. Been running a little hot but nothing a little fiddling couldn't sort. Unfortunately I plugged in my Oculus Rift S and getting no displayport error. Has anyone managed to get the headset working with the Defiance? Spec wise it should be more than enough but not sure about the mini displayport and which adaptor it is connected to. Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. Just borrowed a friends headset and it was the cable that was faulty. Oculus support here I come!

Oh mate, good luck with them. Took over a month for one controller to be RMA'D
