My Octane III laptop seems to get pretty hot. The GTX 1080 reached a max temp of 91 degrees C whilst playing gta 5 according to MSI afterburner though only seemed to spike at 91 degrees most of the time it sits around the high 80s near enough same for CPU as well. I leave the fan profile set to automatic not overly keen on leaving it on overclock fan profile as the fans get pretty loud. Wish these laptops had better fan control so I could set the fans to max out at like 70-80% fan speed so it gets pretty good cooling without being overly loud. Weirdly though on automatic the fans never go to max speed.
It's also sitting on a cooling stand which doesn't really do much probably lowers temps by about 5 degrees if that. Sadly can't seem to under volt the cpu either it just black screens at anything under -100Mv. Are the gpu and cpu get safe? Also when does the gtx 1080 thermal throttle?
