I have purchased an Octane III 17.3"(FHD) laptop, but there is a slight light bleed on the lower left of the screen. From what I understand it is caused by the screen bezel putting pressure on the LCD. It is only visible in black scenes tough.
When I turned off the lights, I noticed a few more points of pressure on the right edge of the screen. Will such pressure damage the panel? Also, is sending it in the only option, or is there some safe way to lessen the pressure exerted by the bezel myself?
EDIT: Bleed caused due to pressure by bezel, which is not completely flat. Its inner sides bend slightly inwards, pushing against the screen. I have placed a small piece of paper that made the bleeding fainter, but more spread out. Hopefully this will not break immersion as much as the previous sharp point.
