Nvidia stocks unlikely to improve

So it turns out at NVidias recent trade show, they announced the RTX5000 Pro GPUs, these are using the same dies as the normal RTX models but with significantly increased VRAM, intended for Threadripper level workstations.

The 5090 equivalent on the Pro range has 96Gb of VRAM!!!

These cards are likely going to cost north of £6k

If there’s a shortage of these dies now, do you think Nvidia are going to put those dies into gamers hands where they only make a few £k, or into these cards where they make perhaps 4 times that amount?

Unfortunately this is really the final nail in the coffin for Nvidia gaming.

Almost as bad as Apple's RAM/SSD pricing

If it was me, I'd not bother buying a new GPU, to let Nvidia know I'm not playing their games (which is easy for me to say as I don't need a new GPU). But unless everyone boycotts Nvidia they won't give a damn...and their enterprise/AI customers will keep them going too

Unfortunately 100% correct.

They’re only doing this because the demand has been proven to exist
