Nvidia G-Sync?

I bought the Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M with my laptop, which stated that G-Sync was optional with the purchase. However, I don't know how to know it's available or how to access it.

I've got the Nvidia Control Panel but there's only one Vertical Panel labelled "3D Settings" and my drivers have been installed to the latest versions.

How do I check to see if I have G-Sync, or how do I install it?

Thanks.

G-Sync is enabled dependant on the physical screen supporting it. When you order you had to state if you wanted a g-sync screen or not. If you ordered the standard build you don't have g-sync unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't understand why PCSpecialist wouldn't provide a checkbox for something like that, as (especially for a first time buyer) I assumed the optional feature would have been included already, with the ability to enable/disable it.

I plan on sending my laptop back around Easter time to upgrade a part, so would it be possible to ask them to install the g-sync feature?

Also, this is off-topic, but if I were to send my laptop back, would they be willing to restore my laptop (everything including bios etc.) to the settings from when they originally sent it out? During a system restore, I was told to install drivers from a CD and (although the laptop works) the bios has been changed from PCSpecialist to American Megatrends.
